The real purpose of life

It's been a long time since I've posted a blog. I've so many things that I did (even the nonsense ones) so now this is the time that I can express thoughts that I want to say. Anyhow, as the title itself, I want to share with you my thoughts and beliefs about the real life's purpose. As a Catholic or as a believer of God, I still believe that life here on earth is just a training ground to be with God in heaven. No matter what our superficial dreams and ambitions are, it's just an earthly desires. It will not count in God's requirement to his kingdom. God doesn't look on what we had in life but on what we did in life.

If you're going to ask me, what my beliefs are is opposed on what I'm doing in my life right now. I'm committing to things which aren't good in God's eyes every now and then. Every time I'm doing those things I feel relaxed and afterwards the feeling of guilt overwhelms in me. This kind of life is like a wheel that goes on and on and on.

I remember the year 2008 wherein my relationship with God had strengthened. It happened because I'd suffered a minor depression for personal reasons. When I came back to the Lord for repentance and revival of my spirituality, the effect of it amazed me. I felt that most of my prayers were answered and my life came on the right track. Most of the good things were happened until I came to my old habit again. It's so sad....but true.

Even now I'm still struggling to regain my faith due to temptations and unexpected circumstances. Nevertheless, I'm glad that the word "hope" was invented in the dictionary. I'm the man with full of hope. I also believe that I'm not the only one experiencing this kind of problem. Many sinners received the word of God and miraculously transformed that you've never seen before. I hope that I could be one of them soon.

I'm thankful that I created this blog site. The reason why "My Eternal Affairs" is the title of this blog site because it reminds me that I need to focus on my life's real purpose. Just recently, I realized that "interruptions" that might cause your loss of momentum in life is just normal. In my opinion, they can interrupt life......but not the purpose!!!

blog...blog...blog...

I wish that I could have a plenty of time to blog. Just recently, I realized that i'm a blog fanatic. I love surfing and reading informative blogs. Blogs that educates, inspires, and motivates me to write a blog too. I want to blog about my notable activities, my feelings, points of view about what's happening in the world today, reviews that are related to entertainment/literature and so many more to mention.
It could help me also to improve or enhance my English comprehension (the language that I truly love and hate) . I don't care if there are some grammatical errors in my blog post but I will do (not "try") my very best to ameliorate my English proficiency. I can also write a blog in Tagalog but not so often.
In writing a blog about my opinion regarding current events, I could be a tough critic but I will do everything to become tactful as possible. Everyone's entitled to their own opinion as long as you show diplomacy to others.
As you read the first sentence, i'm hoping and praying that God will give me more time to post blogs. Blogs that someday might give inspiration to my readers.

"Once you learn how to die, you'll learn how to live" (a notable quote from the book "Tuesdays with Morrie")

In my own understanding, it means that always think that your time is running out so that you could do better things in life instead of feeling that you've a lot of time but you're wasting it.

Book Review: Para Kay B (o kung paano dinevastate ng pag-ibig ang 4 out of 5 sa atin) by Ricky Lee

Rating : 4 stars

About dun sa novel mismo, yung story, marami siyang twists. Kakaiba parang digital film. Para din siyang "Jologs" the movie na mas pinagulo pa. It's a story about love (and it's a lot of issues!!!), pain, fantasy, & mostly reality.
Dark comedy ika nga (parang House M.D.hehe). Medyo namulat ako after kong nabasa ito at napa-isip.

Ano ba ang mas mahalaga?
Pag-ibig na bawal pero masaya ka o
Pag-ibig na tama pero malungkot ka?

o kaya:

The one you love or the one who loves you?

Yun kasi ang tinatalakay sa novel in my own understanding. It's a never ending issues about love. Maybe some people can't relate to this (and that includes me.hehe) but how about the others who are affected in this kind of issues? Anyway, JUST READ THE BOOK AND I RECOMMEND THIS TO ALL MOST ESP. TO THE YUPPIES OUT THERE. :-)

Hustle while you wait

The title of my blog is one of my two favorite quotes (the other is "once you learn how to die, you learn how to live by Morrie Schwartz). But I'm just going to focus on the "hustle while you wait" since it's the title of the blog anyway.

I've first seen the quote in the book "I kissed dating goodbye" by Josh Harris. He said that while waiting on the right person for you to be with, you must hustle while you wait. It means that you must do things first which pleases on the eyes of God. It can also help you to become fully prepared when the time comes that you want to pursue a romantic relationship.

This quote is not only for finding a future mate or partner in life. It can also applied in general like while a student is waiting to finish his studies he hustles first by meeting all the school's requirements in order for him to graduate. The other example is while the person waits for a job opportunity he hustles first by means of doing productive things which can help him develop his skills and knowledge for the job that he really wanted.

But the perfect example of my fave quote is this.... a person while waiting to live an eternal life, he hustles first by means of doing things on a right and on a God-centered purpose. This is what I want to do now in life. Doing things on a God centered purpose can apply in general whether you're at home, school, work, church, mall, beach, party, hospital, basketball game, outreach programs, concerts, worst case scenarios etc... Living a life on purpose to go to heaven and to live an eternal life!!!
